Kangasala Arts Centre
Kangasala Arts Centre is located in the heart of beautiful Kangasala Municipal, 20 minutes from Tampere City centre. Kangasala Arts Centre was opened to the public in February 2015.
Kangasala Arts Centre includes 285-seat Kangasala Hall, 65-seat Meeting Hall for Municipal Council and spacious premises and foyers full of natural light. Kimmo Pyykkö Art Museum, the newest art museum in Finland, exists in Kangasala Arts Centre. Kimmo Pyykkö Art Museum focuses on lifework of a sculptor, professor Kimmo Pyykkö and temporary exhibitions. Kangasala Arts Centre is located next to the Kangasala Main Library. Together with the library, Kangasala Arts Centre constitutes Kangasala Cultural Quarter.
Kangasala Arts Centre provides unique and modern facilities for concerts, performances and other cultural activities as well as conferences, meetings and different business events.
The Kangasala Arts Centre building is designed by Heikkinen-Komonen Architects.
