Arrival and parking

The Kangasala Arts Centre is in the centre of Kangasala, next to the main library, and near the central square and bus station. Our address is Kuohunharjuntie 6, Kangasala.
The nearest accessible parking space is in Kangasala central square parking bay, 30 meters from the Kangasala Arts centre main doors (address: Torikatu). Taxis and cars dropping off or picking up disabled customers can drive to the front door from Kuohunharjuntie.
Accessibility
The Kangasala Arts Centre and Kimmo Pyykkö Art Museum aim to be accessible to the widest possible public. The main doors open automatically and the threshold of the main entrance is under 20 mm.
There are two levels in the Kangasala Arts Centre and three levels in the art museum. You can find the elevator in the aisle connecting the Arts Centre and the library, behind a glass door. There is a separate elevator in the museum.
The box office and the entrance to the art museum are on the first floor, to the right from the main entrance.
You can enter the Kangasala Hall from both floors.
An accessible toilet and baby changing facilities are on the first floor of the Kangasala Arts Centre.
You can borrow a wheelchair and a pushchair. There are foldable chairs in the art museum.
Induction loop
There is an induction loop system in the Kangasala Hall for hearing aid users. The best seats are at both ends of the middle rows.
Customers needing assistance
There are two wheelchair spaces in the Kangasala Hall, at both ends of row 10. You can access the wheelchair spaces from the second floor.
We always reserve a free companion seat beside the wheelchair space. Companion ticket is free of charge in Kangasala Hall own productions. When buying a ticket for other events, please check the ticket prices from the organiser.
Customers with walking aids can enter the concert hall from the first floor, using the door opposite the box office. The first rows in the hall are accessible.
The Kangasala Arts Centre, the Kimmo Pyykkö Art Museum and K-Kino are EU Disability Card partners.
We accept the EU Disability Card and we want to offer accessible events to all our customers.
Assistance dogs
Assistance dogs are welcome in the Kangasala Arts Centre and the Kimmo Pyykkö Art Museum. If you are coming with an assistance dog to an event in Kangasala Hall, please reserve a seat beforehand. We can arrange a quiet place for your dog during the performance, or a seat with a space for your dog nearby.
