By bus from Tampere
There are regular bus services from Tampere: routes 40, 40A, 40B, 40C, 41, and 42 from Tampere centre to Kangasala centre operate all day until late in the evening.

By car
Kangasala centre is a 20-minute drive (18 kms) from Tampere centre.
From Hämeenlinna: 50 minutes
From Lahti: 1 hour and 20 minutes
From Helsinki, Jyväskylä or Turku: 2 hours
Parking
There are 330 parking spaces in the Kangasala car park, P-Kuohunparkki. Parking is free for the first three hours. The address for P-Kuohunparkki is Kirkkojärventie 8.
The Kangasala Arts Centre does not have a car park, but it is only a short walk to the Arts Centre from the Kangasala centre parking spaces.
Please note that most of the parking spaces require that you place a parking timer disc (parkkikiekko) in the windscreen of your car!
There are free parking spaces and two free parking bays on Urheilutie. There are also a few free spaces at the beginning of Finnentie. Parking is restricted on most of the other parking bays and roadsides in the centre. Please check the restrictions on traffic signs.
Cloakroom
For customers coming to the Kangasala Hall events, there is a 2€ fee for storing coats and other personal belongings in the cloakroom.
At other times the cloakroom usage is free. There are small lockers beside the cloakroom that can be used free of charge.
